Transplanting Mom outdoors

I have an LSD mother that is 5 feet tall. I have been cloning hr for a couple of months. Now I have a mother too tall for grow room (12/12). The bottom 2 1/2 feet is bare from taking clones. The plant is top heavy now (3 gallon pot) and I have it staked up.
Question is: Can I transplant her outdoors and bury the the plant right up to the bottom leaves? That would be a couple feet of stalk in the ground. Is it better to leave stalk out of the ground and stake her up outside.

Change your trimming/cloning methods so your Momma stays a certain height.

But yeah, plug her into the soil as far as you can, it's great for stability and may help out in protection from hungry hippos.

I would leave a foot out and prepare to stake her once she starts flowering. Spread some myco on the roots when you transplant pretty sure you will enjoy the end results. keepem green dirrtyd

ive always wondered this too. does the stalk grow roots out eventually? how long does that take? would slicing the outside of the stem help out with that?

bump. still curious to see if its better to slice the outside of the stem when doing this. not too much obviously. or is burying the plant deep only a way to save space and help to keep her from falling over?
any info?
