transplanting during flowering

Whats up everybody..
Quick question,

My plant is roughly 3 ft tall and is dying for a bigger pot. I have it in a regular spackel bucket roughly 5 gallons.

She is about a week and half- two weeks into flowering.
(PLanted mid may, now its august 19)

Should I plant it in the ground now? Does this affect the flowering process?

Should I just leave the plant in the pot? Bigger pot?
What are your opinions.Thanks

I'd be inclined to think that a 5 gal is enough for a 3 ft tall plant... but you know your plant better than any of us and if you think its "dying for a bigger pot"... then transplant it into a bigger pot. It won't hurt anything. I say do that instead of planting it in the ground just because you can transport it when needed and can control the quality of the soil and the feeding regiment much easier.

I've transplanted a flowering plant before, well she had just started to flower I'd say 2 1/2 weeks of 12/12. She's went through a little shock but not to bad. If you don't care about the bucket bust out the bottom & put it in the ground or another bucket.
