Transplant help and questions

Hey guys i have a few questions. one is i have the plants in a small pot for seedlings maybe half gallon? how long can they stay in it before they need transplanted? and i ordered ff happy frog nutes and soil, they are currently in a lowes soil, if i transplant them into the ff soil when they are bigger can i use the FF organic nutes right away or let them eat up the nutes in the soil first then use the nutes as to not burn the

You'll have to keep an eye on them to truly know when to transplant them, a safe guess would be around 2-3 weeks. I started in a 12 oz party cup and it took almost 2 weeks for the roots to be curling a lot around the bottom, then it went into a half gallon for another 2 weeks but it probably could have gone another week until it was in desperate need of transplant. It will vary from plant to plant based on varying root growth rates. For a week or so after transplant into the fox farms you may want to hold off on the nutes just to give the plant time to adjust to the change in medium, the nutrients in the new soil will be enough for there to be no need to feed.

yeah exactly as bryleetch said.

I started in party cups. moved to 1gal after 7 days since my plant was fairly large already. roots where just start to turn. moved to 1gal which they stayed in until day 26. Those where turning pretty good.

When i start to notice them drinking water quicker then usual i feel that theres alot of roots and its wanting more space.

ok thank you so far after 2 weeks of veg one is much bigger than the other one is about 1 1/2 " tall and ones almost 4" tall with about 4 nodes
