Transplant from AeroGarden to soil?

Has anyone successfully done this? Is it even possible? Tips anyone? Plants are about a week old.

Thought about this more. Maybe it would be better to transplant to DWC. +rep for answering own question.

& im sure it wouldnt have been hard to simply bury the plug in the soil. as u would with hydroton in a dwc.

an aerogarden doesn't use plugs other than for the seed, the roots free float

Ive been thinking about it all day, and I think I am going to go with DWC. They are already in little baskets with that rapid rooter stuff. All in all I think it will be a smooth transition as long as I do it before the roots get too big.

if seedlings can be put straight from germination to hydroton clay pellets, then developed plants with a root system would definitely be plausible and fairly easy i would think. and i thought u meant the actual Aerogarden...the product u can buy.
