Transitioning clones to the outdoors

I want to plant purchased clones, that have been under lights 24/7, on April 11. These will be planted outdoors. I would like help determining the date I should purchase the clones so that I could start their transition into natural light. I live in the SF Bay Area. Any help is appreciated.

Im not familiar with the sun patterns in your part of the world... but...

IMHO - I would purchase them as soon as possible, if they are under 24hour light then im guessing 'controlled environment'. in the next few weeks you would need to get these plants accustomed to the outdoor weather i.e putting them outside daily increasing there the hours till they are fully 'hardened' off and ready for the outside world.

Hey, I'm in Redding(north Cali)
So when I transition my clones I start the purchasing in the first week of may. The light cycle is fine and the temps are stable. Although I do bring them in at night. For the first couple weeks. I haven't had any problems. This year I'm doing all seed starts along with clones, I keep them on a 18 hour cycle but will eventually take them out side probably around may, but it's acting like an early spring here and warm temps.
