Transfering Marijuana +rep

Ok, So a few days ago I transfered my plant into a 1 1/2 gallon pot and I realized my soil is pretty shitty so I am wondering if it would be ok to take the plant out, kind of shake the soil off, and transfer it to some better soil.

If so then I Lowe's would be my only option with Miracle Grow, Scotts, or Sta-Green. I was leaning towards Miracle Grow moisture control but heard bad things about the ph of 5.0 or something. Also that it has time release nutes which aren't very good because I have some plant food I was wanting to give it. So does anyone know any soil from those 3 brands that is OK? Also I saw some african violet potting soil with a ph of like 6-7.0 which looked like something I would want.

Thanks guys

Scotts has a top soil that is just plain soil basically. No nutes. and its like 1.99 for a huge ass bag. I am currently growing in just that but If I were to do it differently I would mix in Per lite to help with drainage. probably in the 1:1 or 1:2 perlite:soil ratio.

I agree with Natty, I've heard good things about scott's and its cheap. Plus like you said, you want to add your own nutes.

As far as retransplanting, you should be fine. Make sure you water it in really good after you transplant!!

I don't have a store that sells foxfarms, only Lowes I am pretty sure. So what soil should I get from Lowes i'm still undecided

yes you will have to your own nutes...

Buuuut you wanna do that anyway.

Time Release ferts in the soil are bad because they don't release the right kind of ferts in the right amounts at the right time.

yes he will have to use his nutes but not until it needs it, the thing shouldn't need any extra nutes for a few weeks
