tragic kitten incident.....help?

ihad a jock horror sprout sunning on my window sill because the grow box is on a 12/12 cycle. my blind kitten managed to climb the curtain, knock over the plant, rip it from the dirt, and proceeded to eat the 4 baby leaves, leaving nothing but a very thin long stem. i couldn't bring myself to just throw it out so i pushed it back into the soil and placed it in the safer confines of the growbox. its been like two weeks, it's still green, still standing, still has some thickness to its stem, generally not dead. maybe halfdead, but not growing any new leaves, i doubt it can make enough food with just the green stem but is there something i can do to try to respark it???
maybe clip the tip?

im still a newb but if im not mistaken 12/12 is for the flowering stages of a plant, and you said you were sprouting? so wouldn't it be better to try and save by putting it under some lights on a 18/6 with higher P levels for nutrients? like i said i am a newb so i would get a second opinion lol

i had it on the window because my main crop is flowering in the box, and i was keeping this one sprout separate because it was a gift and i wasnt ready for it.
