I don't know much about anything but I would assume that with the recent media attention on the things you mentioned it might be wise to seek out other avenues.

Yeah I heard about this sort of thing too. They claim to sell anything from heroin to DMT online. My friend went as far as hooking up Tor and logging on etc.. I don`t think he ever found the bitcoins but he said it wasn`t wise as it was pretty commercial so he laid off ordering stuff from them. I mean it would be your fault for odering ilicit drugs of the net if you get caught don`t forget.

Yeah bitcoins are a new avenue of currency. When it started to grow it exchanged at $0.07/Bitcoin and 50 coins could be produced every day with a simple CPU, now they exchange at ~$20/Bitcoin and 50 coins can be produced every 5 days with a $2500 custom build.
Untaxed and unlikely to be inflationary. GREAT!!

What's there to know about the hidden wiki? It's a wiki on the tor network, you use tor to read it. If you are new to tor you really need to read it. kpvz7ki2v5agwt35.onion

If you are interested in other, similar programs I can mention a few.
The easiest way to get enough bitcoins to buy drugs (I'm just kinda assuming this post has something to do with the recent press coverage of the silk road
especially considering this is a forum dedicated to a drug) is to just buy them from a service that sells them. Granted you have to be careful that you don't do it in a way that it can be linked back to your "real name." Cash by mail can work as long as you don't use your address for the return address. Prepaid credit cards are an option for some of the bitcoin retailers buy in cash might want to do it at a store that's not close to where you live just in case. You can also try to be paid in bitcoins for offering various services. Also make sure you only use a bitcoin seller that operates on a pseudonymous network like tor or i2p.
When bitcoin first started most of us nerds had enough computing power lying about to make a decent bitcoin miner. The trade off was you couldn't do much with them. However more services are accepting bitcoins (there are plenty of perfectly legal goods and services that you can purchase with them) and it's getting more costly to build a decent bitcoin mining box. Some groups are teaming up and splitting the bitcoins they make so that is an option.
Be aware that bitcoins are in effect pseudonymous with both the identity of sender/receiver and the amount of bitcoins that are being transfered are broadcast to the entire network. It is vital that you do not allow your bitcoin account to be linked to you "ture name".
