Topsy Turvy Pot Planter

hmmmm....I won't think that it would be all that effective. I mean i suppose it is possible to grow in that but the problem i see is that the tops of the leaves wouldn't be exposed to the light (unless you had the light source underneath).

I don't see any advantage to trying this. The advantage for tomatos is that they don't sit on the ground and rot which isn't really applicable to cannabis.

Dude this is completely trippy, I saw an infomercial for that damned thing this afternoon and thought the same thing ...

I have a friend who has 2. She's straight so she didn't put MJ in them, but both her tomato plants died in them so I kind of doubt it.

yeah. but lets say you had the cannabis in that thing. about 5 feet off the ground. maybe 6. and put the light source underneath it. wouldnt the cannabis grow down to the light. we.. hang on, that may not be such a good idea.

400W + potentail drippege = oh shit

Hey gyes I tried the upside down tomato thing this season... at first they grew much faster than the ones just planted in regular soil....
eventualy the soil got compacted and the plants just seemd to wither away while the ones on the ground grew to 5 feet...

Maybe I'll try next year in a place with more shade...

They work very well actually. The plants do not hang down, actually they kind of LST themselves. The stem will grow straight a few inches out of the bottom of the TT but then will twist in a u shape to reach for light; so will the side shoots and leaves, thus meaning no need for lighting underneath(although some cool floros would be sick), as the plants will rise like they usually do. Lots of videos on it around now.

I had six of those for tomatoes last spring, the tomatoes didn't do well and last week in a rain storm the plastic tore and dumped soil all over my pristine river rock landscaping. Plastic was supposed to be sunlight resistant, it's NOT! Threw them all away.
