Topping vs. not

is there that much more of an increase by topping plants or does it just bust one big cola up into a few smaller ones? im thinking about trying it on a few of my plants but want to make sure its worth it. the plants are 4 weeks old and have about 7 nodes each is this a good time to top them?

topping depends on the strain. some react diffrently than others. i would try it on two of them depending on how many you have. but it all depends on the strain . i have tried topping and in my experience it worked wonderful but i dont know what it wouldve turned out like if i wouldnt have topped it. when i topped it though i tied the tallest 2 stem down to force them to grow out wards an it open up the inside for all those popcorn buds and they loved it. all in all it worked good for me and my strain. you other ? yes you can top now if you would wnat too.

You will get smaller top colas, but more of em. Its a matter of choice. Topping will shorten the plant a wee bit but as I said it will bush out more. To each thier own.

if you read a bit about it though like i said some strains react differently and flourish. it is a matter of choice but also strain like blueberry it is recommened to top this strain so it can reach its full potential. happy growing bud

If ya top at 7 nodes then ya will have 7 branchs with a bud on the end. If ya dont top ya can have 14,16,or even 20 branchs with a bud on the end.

I would just tye the branches down when they get too tall.
