well i used Uncle Bens topping technique
you should look it up and read all of it

but he says to cut an 1/2 inch above the second true node
to get 2-4 main colas instead of 1

yea thats a great thread i acualy did the 4 main cola teqn. and it went great! oh shit 100% activity!! im on here to much.

I do it at the 5th node, I've read that it's better to do it when they're young. Your plant will be a bit stressed out in the first couple of days after topping but after 10 or so days they recover. GL :)

I am on my first grow and I topped my plant after the sixth node and she is now nearly ready for harvest. I have about six large colas, and bunches of smaller colas, and tons of popcorn bud sites. What I intend to do is chop the large colas when she is ready and allow the smaller colas to mature a bit before touching them. Not sure how this will go, but am journalizing all of this so I will be able to refer back to the journal on future grows.

I look right down the center u see a little ball in middle just pinch and 4-6 top colas will grow no cutting at all.I top at 12-18in if i top at all.
