Topping question

I acquired 6 teens that are around 15'' currently. I normally top at a much smaller height which is appropriate for my grow space. The plants are now acclimated to my environment and I was wondering how low on the plant you can top without stressing the plant out. If i were to go 3-4 nodes down from the apical meristem, would that be too much?

why is that? its general practice to grow 7 nodes and ake off five of em for two dominant colas. imo you can take it as low as you want. im failing to see why it would stress them more. id like to learn though.

as long as you leave some green on the plant it will recover. You could cut off the top 90% and be fine.

Try supercropping. It works great for height restrictions and you dont lose the tops. You can still top them without overstressing them.Give em a few days to recover before flowering.
