Thinning out/defoliating is the most stressfull thing you could do to a plant, and your delusional if you think otherwise. As far as lollipopping goes Im gonna go shave my legs up to my ballz so my baldspots on my head will fill in.

loss of foliage is gonna lead to stress and possibly stunting, if they lose too much, more stunting. this can be seen with mothers(more so will smaller ones) after taking many cuts, i wont see as much overall growth for the next 2-3 days, of course after topping the plant usually responds by sending more energy to other branches so the energy does seem to become divided and harder to judge its rate of growth, but it certainly seems like less is goin on for those few days, ive also noticed the stunt more with less resilient strains, and it seems more noticeable when they are smaller and dont have as much foliage to spare.

They fuckin ace! For a "newbi" as u say air pots are so good man although soil in air pots are annoying I put tape around the top holes once to stop water pissing away now use coco + air pots but.. W/e ur doin don't change it they look super healthy, if u don't need cuttings from these plants top now u only need to snip a tiny peice away, and don't forget to tie together that plant that has two colas coming from the stem I had one split on me once, I had to tie it back together and wrap cling film around the wound it was never as good as the others needles to say

I just add water much more slowly and allow the soil to absorb until I get the proper run off.
