topping??need some advice

ok so i have a feminized cotton candy goin 17 days old i wanna top it around 3 weeks and again at around 5 but at that time i wanna top all the cola sites from the first time of toppin can i do this and still not get a male or will that pretty much stress her into a hermi if so im fine with that lol

Im pretty sure topping has very little effect on whether it will herm or not...
The biggest being light leaks, extreme shifts in light cycle, etc....

or can i top more than one place the first time????

Yah i get what you mean....
You want to top multiple bud sites....

I have FIM'd, Top'd, and Supercroppd (Bent, Crimped) multiple times in multiple places....
And taken clones off of moms for a long time, and then flowered those mom's and they were fine....
You should be good....
Granted i dont run much FEM's.. But it should still be ok....

If its old enough it can techincally be done...
But there are hormones that come into play... I dont know enough about it to give you advice...
You can do it and it will work, however i dont know how efficient it will be.
It would probably be more in your favor to keep fewer larger buds than more smaller buds.

ok then i think i will just do like i have before just top it once and maybe start tying it down thnx for the advice brother man

topping does not stress it much ive done it many times i had plants i had topped over 30 times they were monsters just dont get carried away but i love topping it will make u yield them big boy buds take a top then clone it and flower for a week or two to find sex since its feminized it can only be hermie or fem. anyways TOPPING ALL THE WAY my all around favorite method for training plant growth hope this helps

once your side branches start growing big and strong you can top them to you can top any node and it will split in to two new branches in theory you can top as much as you want just top it and train it to the size you want BEFORE flower take into account it will get bigger in flower...much bigger so plan ahead and anticipate the plants growth pattern

Yah but each strain reacts differently to topping, after doing it more than 3 times he may end up with a bunch of Popcorn instead of a few Huge flopping Donkey Dicks....

But the best way to learn is by way of experience and trial and error...
So i say.. if you want to, TOP away...

well i purchased one seed of cotton candy n got one free so i just planted one for now so i can do my toppin to it so i know how she reacts for when i plant the other seed

but if a bunch of nuggies yields me more than 4 horse dicks than thats the way i want it lol

You would be losing out on yield..
