I've seen this question a lot on here lately...when can I top?...where should I top?...is it too early to top?....this plant is one week old....topped at first true node as u can see....I've actually bent her over a little and topped her to keep her even lower to the ground cause the reason for my topping and training is to fit as much plant as I can in my space comfortably......as the new tops shoot up I will bend em out eventually creating what u see behind.....I'll update every so often w new results.20130228_081214.jpg20130228_081314.jpg

U can top wherever u want ..I do it low to keep the plant busy...also when everything is coming off the first node....the two branches there are the main branches... the "mainline" if u will for nutrients and energy....copied this technique from another member "nugbuckets" ..."the mainlining thread"....and kinda did my own thing w it....his is a lot prettier and better but what I do works for me...he keeps his in district tops where I keep topping enentually creating a bunch of little tops...20130204_123312.jpg20130205_110954.jpg20130205_111105.jpgu should def check out his thread...it'll b worth ur time I promise....in the search option above type in "The Main-Lining Thread".....distinct tops meant to say.
