Topping, fimming, lsting o my

Just looking for opinions and possibly someone with experience growing these strains. I am growing blueberry, g13 haze, white widow, whiteberry and cheese right now.

I am thinking of topping the blueberry, fimming the ww, lsting the cheese and not sure what to do with the whiteberry leaning towards lsting but with the blueberry traits would it be prone to snapping like I read the blueberry stem is. Or is that all an e-myth and the bb stem would be fine for lsting lol? I plan on just trying to get 1 large single cola from the g13 haze similar to the pic of it on the attitudes site by lollipopping it all the way trough veg into weeks 3 or so of flowering.

Any advice or suggestion would be helpful.

That has also crossed my mind. To fim or top them all and lst every branch that starts out growing the others. The only hesitation I have with that is I read a few places that the BB has a hollow easily breakable type stem. If thats true I wouldn't want to lst the BB at all.

I plan on later trying the al b fauct method with the g13 haze so I'll stick to lollipopping it but to fim and lst the others on paper sounds like it would produce great yeilds. Thats just on paper though and is why I was asking for opinions or previous experience. Ty for your input.

I agree that topping is shit and not worth doing but FIMing on the other hand is a great thing to do and in combination with LST it can produce big yields.
I see that after checking out your journals :bigjoint:. Very impressive that has made my mind up ty. I'm going to FIM the 4 of them and LST as they need it. I hope to have smaller versions of what your 3 big girls looked like.

One thing to look out for when FIMing is that the branches dont split down the main stem. It can be a good idea to tie some elastic around the FIMmed area to prevent that happening in the first place. It has happenend to me before but it was easily fixed.

You are talking about once the new sets start to grow up out of the main stem correct? I FIM'd them last night at the 3rd or 4th nodes. I might try to get some pics up tonight after work or start a grow journal. Ty guys for the advice/opinions.

DirtyboyHave to do your own experiment.

good luck with the grow.
I have tried topping before and felt similar to your opinion on it. It took a decent amount of time to recover and start growing again then the final product looks to me like it just gave me 2 slightly smaller colas as opposed to 1 larger my overall yeild could not have been helped by the topping.
