Topping experiment... Pics!

So, I picked up a few clones of some local strains - Barrel Bud (Heavier Indica) Cleopatra (Heavier Sativa) and Nitro (Hybrid). The strains come from some old timers, fellow MMJ patients, and they grow these babies with soil/tap water no nutes.
I've thrown the clones into some Sunshine Gro (soil-less) put them under a 400w MH, and been giving them the light love of nutes, to say the least they are loving the PureBlend Pro Gro with Molasses. I've topped each of the clones at least 5-8 times now, I am trying to get upwards of 15 colas off each of them. So far they are growing like beasts, and this is in week 2 of being in 5 gall's of soil-less.

First 3 pics are Cleopatra, then 2 pics of Barrel, and 1 Nitro.

Comments are appreciated, happy growing!

not bad, I'd tie the branches for maximum light penetration to the inside of the plant. lst does wonders, topping more than a few times isnt really needed if you lst your gals. It's easy to get at least 15 top colas a plant, im sure you'll reach your goal.

Thanks for the tip. I don't think I'll top them beyond what they are, but I'm hoping for a higher yield than my first 2 harvests.

stupid question.... its not a good idea to top an auto because it can stunt the growth and the life span of an auto is short anyway...right? (this has nothing to do with your grow IGrowSnow...just crossed my mind as i read this) hope im not offending by asking this in your post.

next question... is it a good idea to LST autos?

you could top autos a time or two earlier in veg, but lst will do just as well, no, actually better since it will not have to go through the stress of topping. Lst is a better idea, keep your growth tips at the same height and they will all become your new tops which you then tie down again to make the growth tips on those tops into main growth points. just keep the canopy level even.
