topping auto flowers

I've been wondering if I can top my auto flowering plants or would it damage them because their grow periods are shorter?

i've topped many autos and they work out great. start with a long finishing strain and never top after 10 days old.

well then I definitely wont be topping they are almost at day 14. I didn't really want to top or damage the plant. I'm going to do the LST on one as a test run and to kind of get the technique down. End of this week I have a few to chose from that I think are long enough to bend to a 45 degree angle and start from there. But I appreciate the advice, When I start some new ones I will attempt topping before 10 days. I will try and get some pics tonight for you guys so you can see where I am at.

i usually top around 5-7 nodes
to each there own i guess
ive had luck with short and long run auto's but it really depends on the stance the plant takes before the topping that i use to decide if im going to or not
i LST every auto even if i top or FIM it
IMO there should be a law requiring LST in all auto grow's ;) it just helps that much on yield

IMG_4550.jpgIMG_6136.jpgIMG_7984.jpgIMG_2822.jpgIMG_2505.jpgThere's 5 out of the 8 total the last one is not a auto flowering,it's a fem cotton candy kush, I have 2 more that are autos but growth wise are not where these are because they weren't getting sufficient lighting as I used fluorescents to start and were on the outside. I have one that is one week behind behind these. Any tips on how to stop the curling that's going on? I think the water is evaporating too fast or was before it got to the root so I changed to something with a heavier flow so it gets further down in the containers, how long should I keep them under the MH light? Or how long is veg for autos?
