Toping young plants

Wanted to get some opinions on toping youngsters. I know that it will give extra bud sites, but is it worth stunting the plant for 3 to 4 days. Strain is Afgany & NL, with a couple of Big Bud. These are typically main cola strains just wondering if anyone here has tried this method with these strains. Any input would be helpful.

Yes topping is an excellent idea. I always top my plants at about the 5th node but you can do it soon. I have topped my younger also but just don't do it too young.
It creates a lot more bud sites PLUS it strengthens your plant
