Okay it's a card. It's not a state card issued by the county, It is not verifiable through the state. Call the number. See if they even answer.

1. They generate money for the state and county.
2. They help the DEA, CPS and other government agencies out by having you on record.
3. They make great I.D. when applying for work or if you get stopped and have forgotten your license.
4. You can use them to scoop up weed.
5. If you get one it makes it look like fucking Jerry Brown knows what the fuck he's doing and is not trying to rewrite legal protections approved by the vote of the people., which brings me to a bonus point. A 6th reason the card is so fucking great.
6. The California medical marijuana identification card, just like Linda Ronstadt's boot heel, can fit firmly up Jerry Brown's ass.

I don't mean to be a downer, nor do I wish to break the stride of those willing to help and push the movement forward. Eager beavers are good.
I have been pretty outspoken against 420 and the mmj card. It is distortion of what I voted for.
Not having an indoor setup, I am limited to what I can grow in season. Six plants don't provide enough mj for all year, at least in my climate zone.
Paying the county $155 a year does not excite me either. Why? I already pay my doctor that much as well as tax on my medicine. The cost of the meds are also being held at an artificial high due to the restrictions of 420. Fewer people are growing fewer plants. Street prices are still cheaper.
I actually like Jerry Brown. I've voted for him every chance I could. I hope he runs for governor again. We came close to legalization when he was governor before. Yet he is still hesitant. He was then and he is now. He needs to be pushed. He needs to rewrite his opinion and stand up for the original bill. His attempt to appease the feds is no longer needed. California is at a point of no return on the mj issue. We as a state have a right.
The California mmj card is a symbol of all that's wrong with the current direction we are headed.Though a treasure in the eyes of those in non medical states, those with no rights at all, they set us apart as somehow being different. Regestered criminals per say.

That's the point. I can follow the law and ignore 420. It registers me, restricts me, and it costs me money. If everybody ignored 420 it would fade away.

Once upon a time a fisherman was fishing in the river and caught a otter in his net. He was not after otter so he let the otter go. Later on that year he was ice fishing in the same river and fell through a whole in the ice. As he was struggling to find his way out of the ice, the same otter came and pushed him to the ice hole with his nose.

Moral of the story: Do unto otters as you would have them do unto you.

The State of California allows any valid medical marijuana patient to have up to six mature plants growing at one time. This amount is fairly generous, considering that up to 4 lbs of dried flower can be harvested from a single 6' outdoor cannabis indica plant.

WHOA!!!! I WAS WITH YOU THERE FOR A WHILE BUT THIS JUMPED OUT AT ME ,BIG TIME. I NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THESE 4 LB. PLANTS.......
thats the state min. its diffrent by county or city. i know in humbolt mendeceno and trinty county there is no limit so you can grow how ever much you want. most ppl there grow 99 because 100 is fedral. 99 is local state
