Top/FIM for the very first time

How does this look? I do have a feeling I did it wrong.
Any inputs?

Looks like ya topped it. I think ya cut a bit too low, to FIM it.

What you did is fine. the two new branch growths beneath the site of the cut will grow to become tops.

Okey... Now it's been two-three days now since I topped her.



But, these..?

like topping but it puts you a few weeks behind, you can do anything you can do with topping by lsting it, and theres not stress by cutting off its top node. topping is also unpredictable really, ive topped a plant and only gotten 1 other branch out of it and another time i got 3 other branches of the cut off top.

depends on where you cut, cut at the third node and you get 4 tops.

if those nodes are close enough (within an inch of eachother) to one another.


top any higher and the distance between nodes will automatically create 2 tops.

dont you think that would cause more stress to the roots? the root growth would be prolonged if 4 main colas were standing on one single stem. the stress also sets you back big time, real growth probably takes another week or two. and plants tend to bush out when theyre topped, and eventually the amount of fan leaves arent even efficient because theyre blocking light from getting to lower nodes.

Looks like you cut just a tad to high, but still came out with success.
