top cone dont densing up

so im probably a little over 6 weeks into flowering and all the buds look like theyre forming good except for the top cone, it doesnt seem like its densing but kinda branching apart. Anybody have any reasons for this, i think it might be to close to the light but im not sure doesnt seem to hot but sure is close, its a 600 w HPS light. help me out please ill put pics um later

when your plants are too close to the light they become airy, how far are the lights away?

like 4 to 5 inches its most surely that, i dont know what to do cuz my lights laying on a support and i cant adjust the height. ide hang it from my ceiling but i tried that before my dry wall isnt strong enough.

Hold your hand right above the plant and if it's to hot on your hand then its to hot for the plant

but I would say 4-5 inches is a little too close, try backing it off to about 10-12 inches
