too young to top?

I got a few girls maybe 12-13 days old. They are maybe 4-5 inches tall at most. Too early to top?
Will topping have a chance at killing them?

I top mine when they get to a certain number of nodes not by how old they are. I let it get at least 4 nodes then i top.

me too as some plants and 14 days old can still be very small do as web say and wait till at least 4 or 5 nodes my friend!! G

wait til at least 5 true nodes and top above the second one and ghget 4 colas..it does work. It also gives you a good start for clones.
