Too Tall, can I prune top?

One of my plants is getting quite tall, but I'd rather see it get more bushy than tall. Can I prune the top section or something to direct its growth downwards and out, aka bushier?

I read something in a book about that, anyone know anything?

yes..you can top the plant to try and slow down the upward growth...another way to keep a plant short and bushy is through low stress training (lst)..this is when you train the top of the plant to grow down so the bottom shoots catch up with the rest....

Yes its called topping. If u cut the very top of the plant, the lower two branches will act as the new top. Then u can top them too and so on and on and on.

topping for small height spaces is good ir seriously just take a piece of string, tie it to the base of the pot, and pull it over the plant at a 90* i topped and pulled over a plant and it was like one giant bud, do both and see what gives YOU the most, its fun experimenting
