Bummer, he's been my workout partner for the past year.
Every time I work out it's Tom Petty in the headphones.
Didn't get the opportunity to see him on his last big your but have seen him in the past several times.
Well to steal some of Tom's words...let's get to the point and roll another joint..!

I just saw him in Seattle in August. Such a great concert. One of my personal idols and inspirations to play music. What a voice and songwriter. I'm still hoping it isn't so even though I keep seeing that it is confirmed.

RIP, brotha. I didn't dig him much as a performer, but I did love a lot of his tunes, esp. when others covered them. I guess it really was his last dance with Mary Jane...

He was in town in June. Wife wanted to go and I said next time.

I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd on their 'death' tour in 1977. Maybe I was trying to save him?

TMZ says the reports of his death have been greatly exaggerated. Still hanging on but not expected to survive. Confirmed on Wikipedia.

On Tom Petty radio Sirius XM #31 they just said he is still unconscious and it is not looking good.

You know, I'm having pangs of doubt about TMZ and Wikipedia, maybe I should check Weekly World News.

Well,news just said he's still alive on life support??
