So I've been planning and building and planning and building I've bought equipment sold it bought what I thought was the right equipment and sold it only to find that my first setup woulda been perfect. I'm tired of second guessing myself and starting from scratch before I even start. I plan to try a number of growing styles to start I'm going to start organically. I said fuck it call it impatience call it ignorance Im planting what I know to be females seeds directly into my (4) 5 gallon buckets using FFOF as a medium. I have them under a 1000w hps in a 6x6x6 grow area they've all sprouted a couple days ago.
Sadly I have no idea what do next I have the money to invest into this "hobby" but would still like to save as much as possible. There is a hydroponic store right next to my job so any gear I can just pick up on my way home today. Please help me with my next step so my kids don't die on me!!!

I mix my own soil and start in much smaller buckets than you are using, then transplant up a couple of times, flowering in 7 gallon smart pots. FFOF is a bit hot for seedlings. If you had not already planted, I would have at least had you mix some coco or peat into the soil right where you are planting your beans. About 1/2 and 1/2 in an area the size of a red solo cup. Since they are already sprouted, watch for nute burn.....you may have to remove them and plant them in something a bit weaker for a while.

Also 1000w is a lot of light for seedlings. Mine start under about a 150w of cfls and I have been told THAT is overkill. If you don't have another light to work with, I would raise the light and keep it way away from the babies. Then after they get 4 or 5 nodes SLOWLY start lowering your light.

As far as any more help, pics speak a thousand words. :)

Well I didn't want to start with my 1000w just for the electricity use for something so small so I have them under a t5 I used for my fish tank. So I didn't find the use to put them in the 5 gallon buckets I did already plant the seeds on 5/5/13 but in to solo cups. I want to post pix but I'm doing all this from my iPhone is it possible to do such?

Solo cups and the t5 are great for starting plants. If ffof is too hot, it will be a lot easier to transplant from those. In the future lighten up your soil for you babies.....with probably 30%-50% of coco coir. I don't have an iPhone so I am not sure how to do that.

Make sure the cups have drainage holes. Cannabis does not like a soggy root zone.
