To top or not to top?

Yes. Do it at least once, just know it’s gonna slow down/stall your growth for about a week and a half.
Depending on your season you could do it again.. but you’d probably be running a little late into the cold/wet weather.
I always fim if I’m just looking for tops. I get anywhere from 3-7 new tips so far that way.

I have no experience with clones so i wouldnt know what to do with it. I top when the plant still has even growth and by the time it is growing alternating nodes like that i am done training.
Curious to see what happens with some topping here.

I think we meant when plant grows to 5-6 nodes (either from seed or younger clone) then you chop the top one (or two) off.

But hey man no worries at all!! Don’t stress a single bit over it lol. You got all season and it’s gonna grow out in the same amount of time anyway.
You’ll have two new tops. Once it grows out a little bit, depending on how much time you have you could top again, for 4 tips instead of 2!
Or don’t top it again, but bend down the two new shoots when they are able, so the nodes on those become your new tops.
Sorry if it’s confusing, I can post pics if you want! I’m baked af rn
