To sanction or Not To Sanction?

recently we have been talking about imposing harsher sanctions on Iran, specifically on the refined oil product they receive from the americas. I think ron paul brings up the best argument against sanctioning the citizens of iraq.

I don't agree with Dr. Paul in every aspect, but his ideas are far and away better than anyone elses. Blockading Gasoline to Iran will only cause that country to come together against us.

Sanctions and embargoes are acts of war.
We should leave those poor bastards alone.
