To high humidity!!

Im in week 2 of flowering ther under 3 600watt lights the humidity is at 67% ive been told it need to be lower than this to stop rot... Ive got 2 fans 8 ich out 6 ich in temps about 27c any idea to make the humiditiy drop at a cheap price??

get some silica crystals they adsorb mositure (the ones in a shoe box that say do not eat ) you can get bulk bags and just pop in oven to remove moisture and reuse

yupyupyup what the second guy said or go to pound shop and buy them in a little clear box called damp stoppers or something mine worked for 3 run reusing them and they also help kill bactirea

If you don't get the RH down below 50% you will start seeing powdery mildew on the leaves. As long as your soil/coco is aerated enough you shouldn't have to worry about root rot but PM is almost as bad. Dehumidifier would help tremendously if you can afford, otherwise use lots of fans and keep the air flowing.

If you go to an RV supply place, they have plastic bowl type deals with about 1 pound refill bags. they have a cup just the right size underneath that catches the moisture, then you just dump and refill. The underneath is just the right size so that it is just full when you run out of crystals. Real easy because you can watch and see when you need to put new.
I read somewhere also, that some people put the larger CFM fan on the intake side, not the exhaust so that there is some circulation also, not just flow.

Nice 1 ppl, kinda sorted it sum how its dropped from around 60 to 45, maybe sumat to do with not feedin them as much but enuf...
