To flush or not to flush? Maybe a half flush?

I know how spread out people are on the topic of flushing but I was curious of maybe giving it half nutrients for the last two weeks of flowering. Has anyone had any expierenced with a half flush?

Only when I take a huge dump and it doesn't flush all the way the first time ......then I get impatient and keep trying to flush before it's ready ...usually ends in lots of unnecessary extra work ......so I don't flush anymore I just leave it for the next person ...

That's not really a flush at all but tapering down on feed is a good idea.

Are lower leaves beginning to yellow? If not make sure to use as little N as possible in the last bit of feeding. Too much N inhibits flowering in the later stages so it's better to have the plant steal it from the older leaves so it's getting just as much as it needs and no more.

I never flush but taper back to lower ppm in DWC and just low level feeding near the end in potted plants with just RO water the last week or so as there is always residual nutes left in the pots.

I'll get it down to about 300ppm in DWC by around chopping time. I usually take the big colas off first then give them another week or more to fatten up and ripen the lower buds before finishing them off.

For the girls in pots I'm flowering now I'll be switching to the Lucas Formula kind of feeding to keep N down some after the stretch. No Grow with one part Micro to two parts Bloom and some Big Bud up to week 6. Then pretty much just water if the buds look like there's just a couple weeks to go. The ones I'm doing now may have a ten or more week flowering time so I'll have to play it by ear.
