Hey y'all.
I just wanted to update my current Amazonian reccomendation. For a few months now, I've suggested Spider Farmers SF1000/2000/3000 models to people. Although I never used them, they had good diodes in them. Later, I found out they're Meizhi and have had a less than good reputation with warranty, communication, and overall customer care. People seem to be happy with their fixtures CURRENTLY though as this was back when they were dealing in Monochrome Blurple Slug Based diode Fixtures.

But NOW...

FISSIONING who sent me their boards to test MONTHS ago, now have FINALLY released their new 3500K LM301B 54V board with added Osram 660/730nm reds.
I've used these boards for 2 runs now. They are hands down, thee best spread I have seen from a board. The tight clusters of diodes on the corners is so smart.
Anyways. Not a shill, just want to be clear that I HAVE USED and OWN THESE BOARDS and I would highly suggest getting them. They're absolutely great. Just look at the damn PAR maps on their second picture.

I'm in the market for a new light myself , came damn close to buying the spider farmer 2000 yesterday . I need something for flowering in 2'x4' area. I kinda like that 240r light. I need something that hits my lower buds better , been getting too much "larf" lately. I have 2 of these ( Yueme 1500W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum) and one VIPARSPECTRA 450W LE ..I need to stop buying lights and find one that just works .

Use those Yuemi pos lights for side lighting and get yourself the boards for above lighting. How bigs your space?

My flower cabinet is 2 x 4 ft by 6 ft. I had 3 of those viparspectra 450w they did ok ...then one stopped working and the other is dying. I bought those yuemi because they were cob lights and I thought they were pretty good . I just want a light that will work and I finally have the cash to get a nice light. I want thick buds not ....airy shitty buds

Okay. The 240R will be killer in a 2x4 bro. And those other ones you can put at the 2' sides for that under canopy side lighting.

I just ordered this one on sale for $300. I’m putting over a 2x3 F&D system.

It doesn't help that the stickied thread in this section "IF you are new to LED and want help choosing what to buy, POST HERE!" was closed for posting in 2016, a lot has changed since then. This site really needs a good cleanup.
All the stickies are old.
A new 2020 sticky should be created and the 1st sentence should say.
Take pictures in natural lighting when posting pictures!

It's just lack of knowledge mate, sometimes cost.
I'm actively looking for more up to date LED lights right now but certainly no light expert as such. Knowing which way to go is half the battle

Unfortunately, carpetbagger led companies play off the ignorance of light nubes. As usual, If something sounds to good to e true, it probably is
