i have a closet set up with a 250w hps and a home made cool tube.
my 100mm 4inch fan can move a massive 325m3/hr! i can even hold the cool tube and it's a nice heat.
i have i digital thermomiter with a probe so i decided to feed the probe threw the acoustic ducting right down to where the light hangs, so the probe was only 4 or 5 inches away from the bulb... 82.2f wow! this is a good temprature.
so if i was to put the probe 9 inches under the cool tube it should be cooler than in the glass right next to the 250w bulb
NOPE! it's 97f ......wtf?
i put my hand in my closet and it feels cold there's such a breeze that i could sit in the room and not break a sweat.
this made me buy an anologe thermomiter thinking my digital one was broke but
NOPE my tools are fine.
today i placed a single piece of paper over the probe and i can't belive it, allmost perfect 77.6f
it's like the air is a good temp but the intence light heats things up
one more thing.... this is a set up ive used before with great results but this time ive used diamond sheeting insted of mylar
can anyone take a guess to why this is stoping me from starting my new baby girl?
