Some people write books... some people grow pot...

Al grows pot... he may write books too... but he is an INTERANTIONAL FARMER.... not a novelist...

I can write too... but I don't write books... I fly airplanes...

You write books... good for you....

THE FACT THAT YOU ARE CHARGING IS WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT YOUR INFO, not the fact that you have it...

Share it free, and no one will ever give you crap... unless your info is bogus...

I haven't... but would never if it wasn't from an accomplished grower...

Why not just post it here and everywhere for people to have FREE access to it..????

You start charging and I swear I'll track this guy down and make him pay my "consultation" fees....lol...:bigjoint:

KB... no one is hating you or you book....

If you came in here sharing the info... you would have been commende for your efforts...

But you went commercial on us... wrong crowd... bunch of weirdo, mostly hippie'sh FREE THINKERS....

So no joy... no hate either... you're just not gonna make a buck off of this site...
I think that is so funny "Commercial". I am probably the most laid back person you will ever (not) meet. Definately wasn't trying to go commercial. I swear, I would have loved a guide like this when I first started using the AeroGarden. I just thought it would be easier to post a link than to go through the whole question and answer thing again.

May you all go in peace my friends, I have taken down the original post.

and just to clarify...

It's perfectly ok to publish and sell a book... on any subject... at a bookstore...

But to come on to a site where people are there to learn and share their experiences... that is not even ethical in my opinion... I personally thought you were spam/scam when I first saw you....

No one is exchanging money for ANYTHING here...especially knowledge... you are the only one... that is all I am saying....

Don't go away... that is not anyone's intent here...

Just share what you got, like everyone else...

Help the newbs out there... post it... please...

Be a part of this community... but don't try to get a buck out of us.... we promise to do the same...

Hope you stick around... there is a lot of good people and info here.. and it's all free....

You all seem so defensive, I don't know why you haven't written a book...yes, you are right, if you had, you probably would have tons of bank right about now.
I'm not being defensive, I'm being derisive. Learn the difference!

This is like someone who is so amazed with himself that he's worked out how to use a screwdriver that he is now motivated to sell a user manual...

Definately wasn't trying to go commercial.
Well, that's precisely what you did!

When you sell an item for a profit, it is called commerce...

Laid back people do business too...

You know what, we've totally hijacked this thread...

Let it go.. post it... share... grow.. live.. be....

Nah, it was TOO LONG to wade through.

Both the 160 page and 190 page threads I linked are also Q&A threads.

My point is that if you're going to start asking ppl to pay for your knowledge, you better demonstrate that you have a lot more than what you've demonstrated through that 11 page 'tome.'
I prefer not to post every seed that pops out by my hand. I suppose you do.

You are all such sweet people. Sounds like fun! Gee, let me be a part of that. So far, you have labeled me as someone that doesn't have experience to write a guide, called my thread a "tome", called the one plant I posted puny, and have basically attacked me without any other knowledge of who I am or what knowledge I have.

As I said earlier, I have taken down my original post. However, it will live on in your badgering quotes forever. Aren't you proud.

What a friendly group of people. Hey, ever heard of telling someone something in a nice, friendly way. None of you seem to be the type of people described in earlier threads.

Wow, I am definately out of here. You all have taken this way too seriously. I suppose you all give away your treasured, award winning, priceless weed you have grown since it didn't cost you anything. Is that right? Do you give it all away for free for the asking. Wow, I commend all of you.

Thanks for the attack!

Why yes, that's exactly what I do. You must be one of those folks who read my every word.

Glad you're here to spread more about what you don't know.

You're not exactly doing a bang-up job selling me your esteemed knowledge.

You are all such sweet people.
We're sweet until someone takes us for a bunch of know-nothing suckers who will pay for information on how to wipe our bums.

Wow, I am definately out of here.
And not a moment too soon. :?

How in the world did you get the idea that I have taken you for a "bunch of know-nothing suckers". That is completely ridiculous.

And, I thought this thread was about AeroGardens. Neither of your wonderful 160 page threads have anything to do with that. Please, help me understand the relationship between AeroGardens and your threads. My god, it doesn't appear to have any relationship. Come on' we're talking 1 and 2 small tabletop grows. Not enormous ones you have illustrated.

I never said anything about you. You are remarkably knowledgable and I have never said or implied otherwise. I hope I have stroked your ego a little more.

And not a moment too soon.

Wasn't this thread originally about growing in an AeroGarden? I don't understand why you are comparing your enormous grows to something like this. They aren't even in the same category? Why?

I'm not comparing my 'enormous grow' (which isn't enormous at all) to Aerogardens. READ before you criticise.

I'm posting about why $300-odd is much better spent on putting together a small system which IS suited to growing cannabis.

You're posting about selling your grow book on Ebay, to drive your personal profit.

I'm posting to help keep people from being victimised by profiteers.

$300- wow, you really don't know about the AeroGarden. I would certainly hope no one would pay that price for one. You can pick one up for $150 and they do work for a small personal grow. If you use an Autoflowering strain, you can turn around an ounce or more every nine weeks. Again, I emphasize, that AG's are for SMALL personal grows. Something that is small, compact and easy to use. Without alot of work.

I am certainly NOT trying to victimize anyone.

I just don't understand why you insist on posting in a thread that you have no intention of helping or answering questions.

Also, I immediately deleted the post that caused so much controversy. What more do you want from me, and why are you going over to my thread on GC and bashing me there too? I spent many, many hours helping people on that thread. Why would you go to all the trouble of jumping over there and post multiple negative comments.

As I said, I deleted my thread? Why are you continuing the harrassment?

Ugh this thread totally needs a referee. :wall:

I think kbfl0912 has taken enough of a beating. Thanks, kbfl0912, for playing. Al totally has a point, and RIU is not a place to sell things. Perhaps next time you wish to dispose of one of your alleged "books" you can open a contest instead of referring the reader to an auction.

I thought I was being nice...honest, but very civil...

We give away as much as we can...

Growing weed costs a lot of money... it's not free... in fact most people end up paying more for their buds than if they just bought it...

There is nothing cheap about the costs of equipment and electricity... so no, I don't give away my harvests... but I do share...

Hey, man... no one is attacking you, just calling you out...

If you have such good info, why not share it??? why try to make a buck...???

You know the experienced growers probably don't need it... so you market it for newbs... ok... but who are you? where did this info come from? How do I know you know anything?

So when you came in posting on a lot of threads (you posted on mine too...) trying to charge for that info... it is only natural that the experienced growers, that do a lot to help the newbs, feel they should call you out... that is all...

We are a big family... and you came in asking for money... our uncle's (thanks Al.) are just trying to protect not only our pockets, but also our grows from errouneous, old wives tales and myths....

If you put your info out for everyone to see, and it is good, you will get all the credit... but until you show us what you got, you will be seen as just someone trying to make a buck...

Why not stop all this... just post the info... if it's good, it will speak for itself and shut everyone up... nicely...

You'd need an entire SQUADRON of flying pigs before you see an oz out of an Aerogarden in 9 weeks.

So small that you can smoke the output faster than an Aerogarden can grow it!
I am certainly NOT trying to victimize anyone.
If you're trying to sell a grow book which describes how to use a device wholly unsuited for growing cannabis, you are just as bad as 'magic sauce' makers who sell jugs of water and sugar, levering the myth that cannabis can use sugars as a nutrient. You're absolutely victimising people who don't know any better.

Well guess what? We know better.

I just don't understand why you insist on posting in a thread that you have no intention of helping or answering questions.
I just don't understand why you are trying to sucker some poor uninformed folks into buying your grow book who don't know enough about growing cannabis to know that an Aerogarden is a waste of money if your intent is to grow cannabis with it.

What more do you want from me,
Stop trying to act like you've done nothing wrong- and stop trying to fool noobs.

Uh Hey Al... I love you and all, but how many more flying pigs do I need before I get a whole squadron... lol...

I think I might be half way there...lol... this is week 7 starting today...

I stand by my experience that you CAN grow and oz evey 9 weeks with an autoflowering strain. I did it twice on the thread I posted earlier. A thread that I have worked on and helped people for 9 months on. Solely on growing with an AeroGarden. It is for people who want something easy and small. If you read my thread and saw thie pics, you would see that you can turn around and oz in 9 weeks. Autoflowering strains only take about 8-9 weeks. Since there is no changing of the light schedules, you can use the empty holes to start seeds while your main plant is finishing.

I gladly posted my thread when asked. I worked hard to help anyone and everyone who had any questions.

I have no ill intentions unlike some people on here. Al has personally attacked me and has now taken his anger onto my thread in GC which has been ongoing and helpful for many many people for 9 months.

I immediately removed the quide advertisement, however Al will not stop posting threatening posts on my thread in GC. He, and I quote "I will stop posting when you make me".

This is so out of hand and off subject. It should have ended when I conceded and took down the stupid ad for the guide. My intentions were mis-interpreted and I am sorry for all.
