Tiresias mist: how long til pollen sacks open?

I bought some Tiresias Mist to try and get some feminized seeds and do do some cross breeding this year. I've always dealt with clones so I'm unsure how long I should wait to pull the branches where balls are showing up so pollen doesn't get everywhere. I don't wanna pull TOO soon and have them not develop enough to release pollen. I first noticed tiny balls on my GSC plant early this week, and plan to get some GSC seeds out of it, plus cross the pollen with Lavender OG to see what I get. May also dab some pollen on an Amnesia and Tahoe Thunder plant.

These are pictures from this morning, I hope to pull the branch and put into a small glass with water inside for the pollen drop. About how long, and what would I be looking for as a warning sign I need to separate from the plant?

They kinda look "puffed" up a bit, and begin turning yellow. At this point remove them VERY CAREFULLY, as the slightest thud, and they will spring open and a mist of yellow pollen will float everywhere and you will be unable to contain it....

Thanks. These are less than a week old, and were purple from the first day they appeared. Do they usually shoot up on stalks and hang before they pop? I've seen that on male plants, but never used collodial silver to force a female to pop some nuts, so I don't know if they will appear the same

They will grow similar to a male. The male flowers will grow in clusters. When looking at a cluster, look towards the bottom and underneath of that cluster and typically that is where your most mature (ready to pop) flowers are. (similar to a female flower, how the calyxs "underneath" the bud ripen first)

In the cluster, your smallest sacks will be the darkest in color. As they ripen, the outer shell/layer almost becomes transparent and become a goldish, yellowish tint. That is actually pollen that you see. It will probably take around 2 weeks or so from when the plant started flowering (not 12/12 switch, but actually flowering) before there will be enough ripe mature sacks in order to get enough pollen for your seeds. In the mean time, one or two might burst so be prepared.

I just got done creating fem seeds, and I currently have 4 more plants that I am treating with Tiresias Mist. I prefer to take clones of the plant I want to make seeds from. Treat a whole clone. Then once the male flowers begin ripening, I remove that clone and put it in a seperate grow box in order to let it mature. I then collect pollen, then select a non TM treated clone and dust her with the pollen to make seeds.

Several weeks later...the flowers are opening but there's no pollen in them!

How did it work out I'm Trying to figure out how to use this mist. Can I just leave the tested branch on the plant and let it pollinate that plant and another?

You could, but then you'll have seeds all over. I don't think I got any pollen or seeds. All the male sacs had no visible pollen in them, blanks! I googled and apparently others have had a similar issue using Tiresias Mist. I'm not sure if it has to do with the silver concentration maybe not being high enough or it's just one of those things that happen.

The male branch that I pulled and put in water was alive for weeks and the petals fell off and everything but that's it. I let it dry and crumbled it in a plastic baggie and rubbed it on a bud, but it doesn't look like anything is happening. I've since harvested, but left the few lower branches I did this to on the plant just to see. Doesn't look promising

I am à new on this forum live in THE netherlands and tried terisias mist.
1 week before 12/12 I began spraying 2 stems for 3 weeks long.
i was very exited to see That there were Malé pollen sacs developing.
THE plant is now 7 weeks in flowering Som of THE sacs are opening but they are also empty.
when I am looking with à magnifying glass I see That is nothing in it.
what went wrong ???

I have used Tiresias Mist on OG #18, Afgani Kush and White Widow plants. The volume of pollen went from excessive, OG #18, to none, White Widow.

I used this stuff with same disappointing results balls but no pollen mine was done on a g13 labs purple haze clone great smoke wanted to make my own fem seeds (bummer)

separating the plant from the others while sacs are forming is a good idea. pollinate that plant, save some pollen but let the pollen develop naturally on the plant. if you put the plant on some white paper you can see when the pollen is being dropped. it happens over many days. if you clip the branch too soon some may not open or produce. no fans... j

Im on my 3rd feminized seed project with TM & Ive NEVER had a problem with it ! I love the stuff & im using ut to breed my own autos now !!!

In nature when bannas open they do not immediatly drop pollon , their to moist they must dry open for a hour or so atleast

I think people think their blanks when they manipulate the balls open early and see nothing becouse it's to moist

before removing the branch, make sure to cover it with a plastic bag and tie it up so you dont get pollen flying all over the place

can you leave the isolated branch in the room with all your other plants and not have put it in a seperate chamber?

seems to me like most of you guys should try to make seeds the natural way before trying this shit. Sounds like most of you dont even know how the male pods behave and how to know whether pollination even occurred. For the record, when I pollinate a plant, I generally know within 24 hours whether the pollination has worked or not because all the pollinated pistils start receding and within days I see seeds forming. I am not waiting around and hope there are seeds in my buds, I can tell simply looking at them, If no seeds are forming no seeds are forming. simple. now if you do see seeds forming and you are early enough into flowering the seeds will get burried by new pistils and calyxes to the point that you might not be able to tell the difference between the seeded buds and the ones that are not seeded, so make sure to tag the branch you pollinate.

treat them kinda like a female by week 5-6 they should be ready to pollen ya female i have a boy now that is week 4 and he is just about to dick my females

if u want advice on breeding inbox me as i have been breeding for sometime now

also one more thing is you can try to isolate the plant you want to pollinate, pollinate the branch you want seeds in, wait around 4 hours, foliar spray the plant with tons of water, the soil, the pots, everything, then return to the flower room. That's how I used to do it but now I dont care I go in the grow room with a Q-tip, turn the fans off, do the deed, tag the branch, turn the fans back on. I dont care if I get a handful of seeds in other buds/plants, generally pleasantly surprised by them.

freezy bag over the cola you want to seed leave the bag on for 24 hours and you should be good
