hey, im lookin to get a better knowledge on pruning. what exactly do i cut off my plant? lol is pruning always going to produce more pot ?

Is that large number of question marks for how long you've been wondering this? 
Pruning a plant just means cutting the growing tip. Any actively growing branch can be cut, and when you remove the tip, then the side branches will grow more quickly. That's how you can keep a plant shorter and bushier.

hm i have a hydro tank, so im wondering if i should prune at all, when i should prune, n what parts i should cut off to gain the most yield in the long run, i hope to go from veg to flower to completion in around 2 months at longest

it takes about 2 months to flower so re-think that idea before you get two dissapointed...
According to Paul James, the gardner guy, and I hope I'm not misquoting him but, "Pruning is the removal of foliage for one of two reasons or both; to permit better air circulation to the plant or to enable light to reach parts of the plant that are shaded."
There's also the pruning of the topical buds, the upper ends, to encourage bushier lower growth. There's also a rule of thumb that what you cut off will come back in two's, (something to think about).
Just remember that Aerogarden recommends that you don't prune more than a third of the plant's growth. I prune the big upper fan leaves that form because my lighting comes from the top and if I don't that's the only place I'll get buds. Pruning the shade away from my plants allows them to flower all the way down to the reservoir lid of my Aerogarden. You might also consider feeding vitamin B-1 when you prune if it's not part of your nutrient regimen. Technaflora uses B-1 as a regular part of their formula.
