Tips on increasing BHO Yield

the yield was a little lower then the room temp.. but i bet after a winterize.. it will be even.. honestly. i think the frozen doesnt need a winterize while room temp more then likely needs one for sure..

Blasted my tube today, much better packing it before the freeze, last time I warmed it back up before I did the run. I have a pretty big pyrex/glass tube and last time I did 2 cans. This time with all the talk of depressurizing switching cans I thought I might try and just use one can. well I had 2 frozen anyways. and after the first can I put down the tube and noticed a bunch of gas still pouring out. well In the couple min of watching the gas come out and thinking maybe theres some trichs left in the tube I grabbed the other cold can of butane and started blasting. well as soon as the liquid started coming out again it looked more cloudy/white than amber (maybe air bubbles?) so I just stopped. Im pretty sure I let everything warm up enough so the waxes and crap started to come out too. Pretty sure if I switched to the second can right away I would wouldn't have lost much pressure at all and wouldn't have warmed back up like it did. Only my 2nd time doing bho but next time ill just do 2 cans to make sure I get it all.

used 2 layers of bleached filters (unbleached is better I guess) I have also heard of people using like 15 layers, what the hell is the point of that? more stuff for the extra oil to get stuck on? had a pretty tight pack and 2 worked fine. I also used sugar leaves from about 5-10 different plants. anyone have an opinion on one strain compared to a bunch like im doing?
