Tips for using MG soil?

So like many... I made all kinds of mistakes with my first grow. But out of the 27 seedlings i started with... there's actually a few that i'm not willing to give up on yet and in particular there is one iron man (hopefully woman..) plant that is actually looking healthy and for the first time last night since i moved them to a warmer spot in the house, i saw overnight growth.

I know MG soil was a poor choice but at this point i'm afraid to go switching things around too much and kill the promising plants, that one survivor in particular.... so i can see the nute burn on a few of these guys... i've tried not to water too often to avoid releasing too much of the nutrients... if anyone has other tips please share them, i'd like to keep this one plant going and avoid killing the other ones that may yet have a chance

thanks!

If they're showin signs of bad nute burn, transplant them in some nute free soil, and maybe up pot size...can't really tell with no pics..

if the one plant i'm most concerned about seems happy enough and isn't showing bad burn.... is it more risky to transplant it to new soil or to leave it in the MG soil?

If you Believe the MG is a poor choice I cant help you, you already believe all the Internet BS. So I would not use MG. You like other will blame the soil for your poor work. Better to go buy the crappy FF or OF and pay alot for it.. and then you can blame somthing else IF you fail.

Don't listen to the MG haters, it works or it would not be the #1 com bag soil you can buy.If you use Mg and are afraid of nute burn just cut the MG with a bag of cheap organic potting soil and perlite.Use this mix for seedlings and top half of your containers,straight MG for the bottom half or 2/3.Water with plain tap or r/o water.This should help a lot of MG users.peace

Look at the bag your MG soil came in...
That NPK in the soil is
N=.05
P=.05
K=.05
So, the MG potting soil has nutes in it, but .05%
1/2 a % point.... of NPK...
If you are really worried about trace amounts of NPK... quit growing...
You MG haters, that have spent 3 or 4 times the cost of MG keep bashing something that did not cause your problems...
Note: Most first grows have problems... it is much easier to BLAME the MG than blame yourself...I get it!
Everytime, [no offense] I hear someone bashing MG soil... I think, what an Idiot...
Would I get better results with FFoF who knows...
Growing in MG is a different ball game, like comparing FFoF soil with MG, is like comparing FFoF with a Hydro grow...
What's the point? Different Ball Game... Different Rules... Different grow....you water different... you add nutes different...
If you bash the MG, and have had problems with it, most likely you would have had problems anyway with any medium...

My tip for MG soil: Dont.

Mg soil is not that bad, yes for lil beans it's overkill on the nutes, but if you mix a non-nute soil w/it (50/50) you will be just fine...I did have probs with my Sativa strain in MG so I moved her to an all natural soil, but still mixed MG perlite with it, and she's comming back and showin new green growth...but like I said it works just fine for an Indica or Afghanica plants, they thrive in it...and being this is my first time ever trying to grow, I'm still learnin' but I'm learning fast...lol

Cutting, or mixing MG with other soil is fine, except, .05% divided by 2 = .025% what did you gain...LMAO.... .025%
It's all good...
Every week, I clone between 2 and 8 plants straight into MG potting soil mix with Peralite, and Vermiculite...
Every week, I move 2-4 plants from Veg room into Bud room...
Every week, I harvest 2-4 plants from the bud room...
MG makes my life easier. I understand MG, the weight, drainage, etc...
I know what to expect...
I have plants, in my Bud [12/12] room that are one week from finish, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 weeks from finish...
I get to see my plants in every stage of growth EVERYDAY....
Every plant looks good, in every stage...
It's not my abilities... I blame the MG....

Oh yeah, and I've only flushed once with 9gal of PHed water...recommended for salt build up at least once every 30 to 40 days or so I've heard
