Tips for airflow/ventilation and what is needed.

Hey everyone.

Doing my first grow at the moment in a 1.5m-1.5m-2m tent.

I don't have any airflow set up yet and need to know what I exactly need. Struggling to find exactly what fans to buy and what ducting is needed. Currently running a 1200 watt viparspectra and just a couple of oscillating fans inside the tent. Only have a couple of seedlings going at the moment but need to obviously have a proper air flow system set up pretty quickly.

Will be buying most of my stuff through hydroexperts (aussie website)

Any tips, suggestions on what to buy or links to videos will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

In some cases you would just work out the volume of the tent and then get a fan to exchange enough air once a minute in warm environments and once every 3 minutes in colder ones. But that is very vague.

Since your in AUS and coming into summer try using this chart to calculate the airflow needed.

Its worth knowing that if you plan on filling that space then your going to need a better light to flower with.
Or reduce your canopy to match the footprint of that light.
If you get a more powerful light then add that wattage and all other electrical appliances in your space and use the chart to tell you how much air flow you need to stay x degrees above ambient. Add 20% for the filter.
Use a worse case scenario when picking a fan strong enough. Match the ducting to the fan size and the filter needs to be at least as much cfm rating as the fan. Extract the heat outside the house not into the room.
