Its just fucking ridiculious that they waste all these resources on marijuana....why the fuck arent these guys going after meth labs or crack houses. What assholes.

I rarely read about meth labs or crack house's being taken down around here but they are alllllllll over. One fucking house gets busted for growing pot and its all over the headlines.

Thats because meth heads must not snitch... they keep their mouths shut that way more product could be made and their supply is secure... I'll tell you If I had 1 plant in my house I would be worried . Im glad I have friends

Me too, there was alot more at work there than just a few cops blindly running dogs through neighborhoods.

Somehow there is a common link that binds those busts together, anybody care to take a stab at what the link may be ?

here you go FL. growers...gotta love there choice of words.

it has passed, May 1, 2008.. just search the new bill..SB 390/HB 173

this qoute is a month old..

- SB 390/HB 173 - The Marijuana Grow House Eradication Act – This bill enhances penalties for persons who cultivate the extremely potent form of marijuana grown hydroponically by drug dealers in neighborhoods throughout the state. The legislation would make it a third-degree felony to own a house for the purpose of cultivating, packaging and distributing marijuana; a second-degree felony to grow 25 or more plants; and a first-degree felony to grow 25 or more plants in a home with children present. SB 390 by Sen. Oelrich is on the Senate Criminal Justice Committee calendar today; HB 173 by Rep. Thompson is on the House Special Order Calendar tomorrow, April 2nd, having already passed its three prior House committees and councils.

yeah i watched that on the news last night, all the counties around mine. the story had a strong emphasis on how people are switching from outdoor to indoor. Im still very curious to know how they got all those houses and info together fora one day sweep. Maybe they just sat on information until the pile grew enough for them to move.

Highly doubtfull in my eyes,i'd be willing to bet that each grow op that was raided was linked somehow to the other grow op's,weather it be from power companies, customs info involving seed bank transactions, hydro shops or some other shit theres a common denominator there somewhere.

Well in the one article I read theey claimed to have arrested a couple people that I had already read about 2 or 3 months ago getting arrested.

So I think they might be exaggerating a little about how many people they busted in that one day...to make themselves look better and scare growers.
