Tiny worm in seed?!?!

Hey guys, and gals..
Im wondering wtf this tiny worm I found in TWO seeds that never sprouted up.

IDK if they are coming from inside the seed, or possibly the soil.. Im only using potting soil..
This is the 2nd time I had germinated seeds, that never came up, and dug them up to see if they ever even took root.. Neither of them did, and First time I found one tiny worm wiggling around ontop of the seed, near the cracked opening..
THis was a few weeks or so ago..

I since germinated a few more seeds.. Just today one came up, and I took a look under the soil of the other seed that was planted same day..
There was nothing but a seed..
Root never made any progress, and then I seen 2 worms around the seed opening.. Then after fishing them off the seed, I seen a THIRD peeking from the seed crack inside the seed...

They are about as thin as hair, and about 1/4 the length of the seed or so.. Maybe abit shorter.. I did have one I fished out to snap a pic, but somehow the little bugger got away or I just lost it.. Damn things are TINY

So Im wondering COULD THIS be why about only 3 out of the 15+ seeds I planted actually sprouted?
And is it my soil, or what?
Never seen anything like it b4 now..
Im living overseas, and not really sure what could be in their "potting soil" as this was the ONLY english on the bag...

Thx for any and all replys:blsmoke:

thats fucked up.. Its just bagseed from some really good kinda about a year ago..

DId you plant the seeds from the paper towel #1? If so did they sprout?

Worms or larva cant get inside a plant, and survive years can they?

Im thinking it actually must be the soil.. Because if you found worms in the actual paper towel, and when my seeds cracked there was no sign of these things..

Although I wasnt exactly looking.. THese little bastards are almost transparent..
I just know I have been having HORRIBLE all time WORST luck getting seeds to sprout..
Im wondering if this could be the reason..

I guess they must be feeding on the seed somehow, since I have only seen these things around the seeds themselves..
They are not really any signs of them anywhere else in the medium..
Fuckers..
Guess I HAVE to look for a different soil mix, then I guess I will see if I have better luck...
I was just wondering if anyone else, had or knew wtf could be going on.. Or had encountered anything similar..

haven't you heard of mexican jumping beans? it's the same deal. An insect lays it's eggs inside the flower I guess and the seed forms around it. This was explained to me in elementary school so it's kinda fuzzy. but the it's the same concept as the mexican jumping beans.

thats funny my friend made a comment along those lines. idk, but they were def around the half empty seed casing. very wierd. maybe came from manure that was mixed in?
