Tinctures ?

So I've been reading up on various ways to medicate without smoking and this seems worthy of further investigation. The material I read suggested one can even use 3-4 oz of "fan leaves" or 2 oz. of bud trim, all the way down to using 8g hash or kief. The recipe calls for one pint of Everclear as a solvent. Since I have a lot of fan leaves and some trim laying around drying, I think i will just combine it all with a few popcorn nugs and prepare a tincture. I hear they can be quite potent. Does anyone here have experience using/making them? Can one in fact, get a good product using only fan leaves ? (lots of them,of course). Naturally, potency will depend on starting product, but I am wondering about using only fan leaves (which I normally threw away). I am rationalizing that, if I use lots of leaf to a minimal amount of solvent then my resulting product "should" end up fairly potent.. even if I only used fan leaves as my starting product. What do you all think? Any replies are very appreciated ! - Stay Medicated :leaf:

You can use fan leaves for tincture. You can even use the same alcohol again to extract from more leaves to make it stronger.

Thanks, so I am gathering you have made a tincture which was of decent potency, using only fan leaves. If so, can you describe how much leaf you used & how potent the end product was? Much thanks, indi33
