Timing for Low Pressure Aeroponics

Hello everyone,

I am putting together a system similar to this one (same sprayers/tubes):





I don't want to use and AeroFlo hybrid system (pooled liquid), so I have a question about TIME ON / TIME OFF.

I know that this isn't High Pressure, but I would like to know what you folks are using for timing.

One suggestion was 1min on / 4 min off.

I am also interested in how people a triggering the on/off. What do you guys think about wearing out pumps?

I use the system from http://mistking.com. Its simple to connect, 125psi. and it will spray for 1 sec or less with the right timer. The sprayer have full articulation as well really nice one's. Thanks for the tip. That is a cool system. Wish it would handle more heads.

What sort of timing are you using?

It will handle more heads bro I run 8 nozzles on their middle tier pump but will handle 25. You just have to buy the extra nozzles. Their top tier pump will do like 40 or 50 nozzles. I currently have a dnle timer that will do 1 second but I have heard they will fail so I'm ordering the one I showed you. Plus I want to experiment with .25 sec & .5 sec which this will do. The dnle will be a backup. I have a backup everything for aero just in case. I throw mine in some trash cans so the roots can hang. I got a lil bit of water down in the bottom with a 12" airstone. Yeah Buddy!!!
