You have to set the current time on the timer.

Once you do that plug it in and rotate it 24 hours and check to make sure it is working. they also have a manuel swich to turn on and off. It may be set to off.

You plug the device into the timer ( single device or power strip ) then into a constant electrical plug. That can be another strip.

ya i tried doing it manually, i went threw all of them, and it still wouldnt turn the stick off.......wtf i say
and i set the current time to 6 and to turn it off at 6
and to turn it on at 6

and it still didnt work
so now im tryin 6 30
so i guess wait til then
but even the manual didnt work, its a 2 way timer, so it has 2 on/offs
but i took 2 of them out and just made it a 1 way

Yeah if you have the whole power strip plugged in it should turn the whole thing off. It sounds similar to mine so make sure the manual ON/OFF is turned ON and make sure the tabs for when it is off are out, and finally it may be up to 5 min off because a tiny movement in the needle could be 5 min.

If you cant turn the stick of manually with the device I doubt the timer will work at 6:30 but good luck.

Nobody asked whether this guy is using a digital or analog timer.

Is it the analog kind with little black tabs that you push down and pull up?

Or is it the analog kind with the red and green on/off tabs that you insert in different time slots?

Or is it a digital timer? If so, are you setting if for the right day? Some of the digital timers have individual day, just week days, just weekends, and all kinds of other options. You might have the right time but the wrong day

I personally leave my fan on all night to keep the heat evenly dispursed. You're going to have to fool around with your timer until you get it right. I had to play around with mine for a day or so before I was comfortable with it. Good luck.

For the fans I would keep them on 24/7 because they are essential in improving the strength of the stems. As for your timer, if the power strip is plugged into it it will turn the whole strip off but either you need to take a picture of your timer or give some good info so we know what your working with.
