Time shifting in 12/12

Hey, so anyone who has anyone else watch their plants know it's almost always bad, and so comes along my story. My "watchers" accidentally knocked the plug for the light timer out this week (2nd week of flower), and I was wondering two things:

1) Should the interrupted cycle with the odd hours (probably knocked it half way, so the plants went 12->12->12->6->6->6->12->12->12->) going to mess with the plant too much?

2) Should I reset the timer to make it "on schedule" again even if it means interrupting that cycle a second time?
