time-lapse teaser

This was a totally unnecessary, but fun addition to this new grown attempt. I got a cheap $20 Webcam that works with the my grow computer i have set up for my DWC system. Details about most of it are in the link in my sig, but ill be starting a new grow journal soon.

Not much content so far, but here's the first two days after putting the seedlings into the system. You can seem them finally straightening out (after dealing with my shitty LED 'nursery'), and seems to be some pretty decent leaf growth. Hopefully the first week will look more exciting. Also not sure what's up with the frame rate... new at making GIFs lol

If you are trying to increase the humidity, go grab a $20-40 humidifier at walmart, bruh! Or at least use a MUCH bigger container, like a bucket and make a frame out of wire hangers to hold the towel open, up and suspended above down into the water. That's how it's done, my friend.

Yea, true true. although if this is anything like last time, once the roots touchdown ill be do everything i can to lower the humidity =\

thanks man, yea the first month i think will be a really cool clip. week1 was pretty exciting with the seedlings, week2 has kinda been boring so far tho.... so we'll see!

It's always slow and boring when you're able to see them everyday, if not multiple times a day.

true that- at least it's been great for tracking growth so far and trends, think i spotted the leaves starting to droop a bit over the night. damn camera is impossible to gauge color with, gotta grab some real pics at lights out

Leaves are supposed to droop at night.

yeah i usually see em dropped in the morning, and they're almost cupped upwards by the end of the 'day'. Thought it was odd to see then not as perky... does look like one has some kind of issue starting to show around the edge of the lower leaves:

You using tap or r/o water? You adding Cal mag?

Using tap water with low-medium hardness (less than 100ppm total), no additional cal/mag. Currently at 1/2 'seedling' strength on the GH trio (1.2ml/gal m/g/b).

You need to add Cal mag. That's your yellowing. I use the gh trio too.
Cal mag is mixed first. Then micro,gro, and bloom.

(pulls hair out) so my water is too hard for lucas formula, but its too soft for adequate cal/mag?

My water does come in at 37 ppm (according to my meter), so possibly a chance there's not enough cal/mag. What's the biggest thing that tips you off towards cal/mag? Curious, because I did get 6 weeks into my last grow with similar schedule etc without seeing deficiencies (... until maybe the end)

Lol. Because your ppms are 37 that's damn near r/o, mines 13 after filtration, & you're using gh flora trio. It requores cal mag. That's why.
