Hi there,

Im running 6 autos in canna terra pro plus soil, it’s been four weeks so far and I haven’t used any nutes yet however I’ve just noticed on one of the plants that tips of the leaves getting sort of yellow/bright green, is it time to introduce veg nutes? If yes should I go with 1/4 or 1/2 of recommended dosage?

thanks

The shade of green says they’re getting plenty of nitrogen. The tips most likely because of that.
Just forgot to mention that someone on the other forum suggested that it might be potassium deficiency but not sure, so I recon I should give them bit of potassium?

I’m not seeing potassium deficiency. Check the internet for pictures of the stages of potassium deficiency.
I was just thinking that tomorrow is 5th week and pre flower starts u can tell so I might as well give them 1/4 of bloom nutes as I don’t really need veg nutes at this point, what u think?

i think you could go straight to bloom, the yellowing might just be the initial stages of flowering but keep an eye on them

Continue veg nutes thru transition - plant will utilize the extra nitrogen for stretching / structure . Plant will continue to sex and begin to set up bud sites. Once stretch has slowed or even stopped - then plant will be in bloom . From then on , use a bloom feed.

You need the veg nutes during this time for plant to keep main fans green / photosynthesis- pigmentation , that way it will not feed off itself for it.

Most growers dont even use a veg / bloom line - some can run start to finish on a basic 5-5-5 fertilizer
All the way thru to harvest.

While many apparently use MaxiBloom start to finish.

I rose the light a bit higher as them yellow tips might be light stress burn, I don’t really f.. know as the rest seems to be fine. What I’ll do yesterday I’ll use veg fertiliser 1/4 or 1/2 and maybe 1/8 of bloom, would that make sense ?

Yep Maxibloom start to finish - either hydro or soil.

5-5-5 fert can be a simple soil specific type of feed.
I am also thinking that this soil is r good for autos, it’s too hot, don’t think I’d be using it for my next run cus as u see the leaves are pretty dark which means there are plenty of nitrogen so I’m not sure if I still should use veg fertiliser?

Your leaves are not dark at all, they're light. Looks hungry to me, and could do with more Nitrogen.
Your RH is a bit too low at those temps, get a humidifier if you want to keep your light close.

Just to give you an idea of color:

Mine might be a bit too dark, but no big deal yet.
Cheers mate, I followed ur advice, I gave them 1/4 veg, 1/8 bloom and bit of cal mag and it seems to be working cus they looking bit better today, I hit them with same nutes in about 2-3 days again. I appreciate it pal.
