It will easily out perform an hps 1000, blow it away. I am sure the main differences are going to be efficiency from one cob to another, but others who know more can chime in.

^ What they said. The tech has gotten to a point where about 700 watts of high quality cob lighting will match a 1000, so yeah, a 900w fixture should definitely outperform one.

Yep. You can dim it to 700 maybe lower and it'll dominate.

The vero is better....I have 16x Cree cxb 3590 and 4 Cree cxb 3070. And I'll be jealous of your light.

Oh Hell Yes And Still Better Than The Cree Is The Citizen. Among The Top 3 Led Makers I Believe Cree To Be Dead Last. So Suck It CCS :hump:
