Timber fatty vs + question

Hello all,
I’m planning on buying the timber framework fatty vs+ and wanted to know what The best spectrum would be for primarily flowering it will probably never be used for veg and only flowering and what is the difference between the 1750 cobss and the other cobs

I went and hunted it down myself because I was curious. The polite thing to do, as the OP, would be to post a link for the convenience of your guests.

3000K should work great in flower, but honestly any of them should work very well.

“1750 K” in this case seems to refer to Kelvin color temperature. 1750K is way down in the reds, I think HPS typically runs around 2100K. It might be completely badass for flowering, but I didn’t know they made LEDs that went down that far. I have no insight beyond that.

Those COBs (citizen makes similar ones too) were intended to mimic an HPS spectrum from an LED.

Ive never used them, and I couldnt find many others with them either.

I wouldn't use only the 1750k cobs, even if it's just for flower. Having some blue is important to keep the buds dense and tight and get those colorful, frosty ass buds.

That being said, they will provide a healthy amount of 660nm far red and IR for some emerson effect goodness.

I would personally try out 3000k for 9 of the cobs and then the 1750k for the other 3. Should be a banging flower light.

i built my own cob lights to save money and it's pretty easy.

this past grow, i added some t5 super blue actinic bulbs to give the 3000K cobs a bit more of the blues that i felt were lacking. the strains were different but the buds looked better than my previous grows with just the 3K cobs

Yeah DIY is the way to go. And LED strips > COBs if you ask me. Cheaper, more spread, more efficient, etc.

People have used MH and double ended MH for finishing their HPS crops for ages. It boosts trichomes considerably.
