sounds like your drying/curing process isnt taking long enough. The hay smell usually happens when the weed isnt dried properly.

well, i guess its just been hit and miss for me,, Ive grown lots of plants together in the same room and most have tight buds that look and smell excellent, but then there is always a few that come out fluffy,, strong as all the rest,, just fluffy. The weird thing is that if I load a bowl for a friend (any friend) I get nuthin but compliments,, and if I show them the plant I get nuthin but complaints about how that sh1t is garbage,,, crazy sh1t huh,, oh well,,,, sucks when you put that much hard work into growin this stuff and you get,,,,, that shit sucks,,, or,,, I wouldnt smoke that garbage,, or,, any other complaint some people have when every aspect of the plant isnt perfect lookin,, just seems a little weird,, maybe I just need new friends,, hahaha,, alright,, take it easy.....

im growing bagseed right now from weed that was basically good indoor that hadn't been dried/cured properly...I'm idk how many weeks into flower and one of the plants has the tightest cola, it's JUST like the weed I smoked...perfect buds so tight. Smells like fruit. I've asked around before and people said it sounds like a BOG strain but this was from a bag that was like $150 a zip...had seome seeds in the buds

NOW I HAVE GROWN JUST A FEW PLANTS RECENTLY, AND THEY HAVE ALL BEEN CHRONIC BAG WEED,, BUT,, IS THERE CERTAIN PLANTS THAT JUST HAVE LOOSE BUDS, AND PLANTS THAT HAVE TIGHT BUDS, OR AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG,,, CAUSE,, I KEEP HEARING THAT ALL THE BUDS SHOULD BE TIGHT AND CRYSTALLY... I KNOW IM DOING THIS RIGHT, DUE TO THE GREAT BUD BUT, ALL MY PLANTS ARENT TIGHT BUDS NO MATTER HOW LONG I LET THEM GO, SOME FOR OVER 14 WEEKS,, AND STILL LOOSE,, GREAT,, BUT LOOSE, AND SMELL LIKE HAY SOMETIMES,, WHATS THAT, AND IS THERE A WAY TO NOT HAVE THAT AWEFULL SMELL,, HELP,,, PLEASE,:peace:
Compact and loose buds are genetic. As a general rule, sativas have looser buds, and indicas have more compact buds... There are always exceptions (white widows have a lot of THC that has to be accomodated by bigger compact buds, even though it is sativa dominant).
