Tiger Bloom On A First Time User

whats up everyone? well got a bottle of tiger bloom today, and tonight is gonna be the first feed, and i was wondering if anyone use this before, and if there's any tips on feeding?

i bought myself a bottle but havnt used it yet

I have used it. I have 2 tips.

1) Tiger Bloom is not organic. You might already know that it's not, but I thought I would throw that out there.

2) Tiger Bloom is very potent. Even when used at the recommended strength every other watering, you can still put some serious burn on plants with it.


Otherwise, it is great stuff. Here's a pic of a Great White Shark at 7 weeks. It was fed only FF Tiger Bloom and molasses through flower. I alternated the two. Unfortunately, i harvested a bit early, so I don't have anything further.



So, take it light. Start at 1/2 strength or weaker, and use it every other watering at most. Nute burn can ruin a crop. Underfeeding is just a mild inconvenience with an easy remedy. More is not better with harsh ferts like TB.

I use this too, and you must make sure to adjust your pH. Even a little bit of this stuff will make it very alkaline and you dont want to kill those babies ^_^

I use 5ml to a gallon of water every watering along with 1 or 2ml of the Big Bloom I think it is plus a teaspoon or two of compost tea... I also am using the Fox Farms Open Sesame every other feeding along with these others. Great stuff.

i just started growing weed for the first time a couple days ago but wen u guys say feed ur plants can u elaborate a little bit more for me im assuming it means u put things in the water wen u water ur plants but im not sure

feed is basically the same as water, we just use a bunch of nutrients (fox farm line as an example, which, by the way, is GREAT for beginners) in our water so that plant has something to... eat.

quick questions fellas....whenever you guys water how much water does 1 plant get? usually my 2 plants share 2 liters of water. so say 1 liter for each plant. is that enough water for them for a routine watering, or should i give them say 2 liters each?? thanks

It really just depends on how big your plants are. My seedlings got like maybe 2 cups of water, but now that I am flower I give them about a liter everytime I water.

I give mine 1/3 to 1/2 gallon each watering every 3 days or so... usually just when it gets pretty dry and my babies look thirsty.

i just watered last night, like i said 1 liter for each plant. i waited a day longer because the top of the soil was dry but a few inches down was still moist. so hopefully by about friday or saturday i'll give them their 2nd dose of tiger bloom too, then i think they will really start to shoot.

I really recommend getting the Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, and Cha Ching to go along with your Tiger Bloom, also if nothing else go pick up some Big Bloom too, all of those are the Fox Farms nutrients that will just completely enhance what your tiger bloom is doing.

i'm kinda strapped for cash for the whole fox farms line of nutes. but i did today pick up some molassess. so i think i'm gonna alternate molassess and tiger bloom every watering. one of the previous post on the 1st page show i believe a great white shark bud, that was fed tiger bloom and molassess.

i am waiting on my tiger bloom and big bloom to arrive in the next few days. hope it works well for you and let me know how it goes.

I water every day, 1/3 vermiculite 1/3 perlite 1/3 soil. with all the drainage the soil dosnt stay moist for long. If i know i am going to be home i will water like 2 or three times in a light cycle. only like 12 to 16 oz of water and foxfarm big bloom. they love it!!! almost like a flood and drain only iam the timer.

you dont have a hydro store around you much easier. rool one up and take a cruise down to the store.lol thats what i do have like three stores within 20 miles or so. one is like ten minutes away. I would hate to pay the shipping but i guess theese day it might be cheaper than gas.

the closest one is probably 2 hours away. i wouldnt mind taking a little trip to a hydro store though.

let the soil dry out thouroughly and then water until it spills out the drainage holes this helps keep ph proper. but make sure not to overwater cannabis does not like wet feet all the time. its important the soil drys beetween waterings otherwise you get root rot low oxygen and fungus gnats.

how can you tell when a plany is thirsty? and how long can a plant survive without water that wont damage?

in soil give your plants enough water so that 10% of the water drains from the bottom of the pot this helps dissolve and leach extra nutrients and salt buildup from the soil
